Let`s all ‘Wear it pink’

We have invited all pupils to take part in our fundraising event for the ‘Breast Cancer Now’ charity. Inspired by our

special Kickers family member, Miss Emily Walmsley and for everyone affected by cancer  

LET`S ALL `WEAR IT PINK` - Any class from Saturday 17th October – Friday 23rd October 2020.

Details have been sent out on our Newsletter. 

It has been great to open our doors again and welcome everyone back to face to face classes, we really did miss

you all! 

We have been delighted with how resilient the dancers are and how they have settled straight back in

to the new normal. We thank everyone for your support in adapting to our new measures and supporting us to

keep everyone safe. Having the two venues and split classes has been vastly different for us but all Kickers

teaching staff are thrilled to be teaching, developing the children and love seeing the enthusiasm from students.  

Gala - The Blackpool AAD Gala has been postponed. We will inform you of any new dates as soon as we know.

Dear parents/ dancers, 

Tonight’s classes will go ahead as planned but as from tomorrow it is with a heavy heart that we will have to temporarily close our studios until further notice. As always, the children are our first priority and along with our care for our parents and grandparents we are taking these steps forward. 

We know dancing is a big part of your child’s life so we will be doing all we can to keep your children dancing at home during this time - so please watch this space! 

These are worrying times for us all and we would like to thank you for your continued support and patience. We will update you when we can. 

Please stay safe and look after yourselves.

What a fabulous day we had in Blackpool at the AAD troupe awards in Blackpool! Huge congratulations to every dancer, you all shone so brightly on stage and worked brilliantly as a team backstage. We couldn't be more proud! A big thank you to all the helpers, parents and supporters fabulous teamwork and dedication from both branches. A most happy celebration of dance made even more special by being awarded top positions in all three sections.

Wow what a day! Well done to everyone that competed in Buxton yesterday at the AAD Scholarships and Debut Award Finals. You all danced beautifully and the support for each other was fantastic. We are proud of every single dancer.

Congratulations to our Fab Four Finalists who danced their hearts out:

⭐️Debut- Runner up Ebony Schofield, 6th place Frances Cragg

⭐️Senior Scholarships- Winner Hannah Barron, 4th Place Jess Timms.

Congratulations to all other schools that competed.   

Huge well done to Faith and Madi for reaching the CYD dancer of the year final today in Liverpool, what a great day they have had! Well done girls, we are very proud.
